  • Bonnie singing and Randy playing, everytime the definitive version! The Chantal version is okay, but there's lots of breathy over-emotion, this is the real deal! I can't see Chantal with just a mic and Randy behind her - Bonnie Raitt has a gorgeous voice and it works with nothing added.

  • WOW! What a great song! I like the L. Rostadt version also, but with Randy By God Newman his bad self on the 88's who can possibly find fault with this?!?! Good work bdbt on the upload, thanks You Tube for the ever accomodating space, and as 4 Bonnie And Randy, damofino you two are just FINE! ROS!!!

  • this is so fine!

  • @Evian622 agreed. and randy's own version on H&A is amazing for the same reason. such incredible emotion, because of (not despite) randy's unusual singing voice.

  • Randy's beautiful song, sang by one of the most unique female vocalist, thank you for the gift. I love This version so much.

  • I wish..........is he out there?

  • I love this song! I would greatly appreciate anyone who has time to go and listen to my cover of this song. Thank you!

  • Agreed everyone, fabulous version. Just love Bonnie Raitt. BUT have you heard Neil Diamond's version on his new album? Shock! It's brilliant! Very understated, and with nice guitar, and harmonies by Timothy B. Schmidt.

  • This is THE version

  • Thanks all around starting with Mr Newman and Ms Raitt, Ms O'Donnell, bdtb and the copyright gods who let this stay on the web. This performance surely helps our planet ring like a bell
