  • Bad ass steri pen thing!

  • @TheHossUSMC thats an old video lol

  • I don't use Nalgene bottles, I always use a Klean Kanteen. I have both 27 and 40 oz bottles but everything I read only talks about 16 and 32 oz bottles. It also sounds like theres a timer thats calibrated for the 16 and 32 oz bottles. I know you need a wide mouth bottle so the sensors are in the water but will it work with a stainless steel bottle in an odd size?

  • @DrunknShooter the 32oz mode would cover the 27oz kleen, but you may have to repeat to process for the 40oz to be safe. check the FAQ on there website

  • Use the prefilter in silty water then take it off of the bottle and then use the steripen.

  • @hunt458 really?

  • Can you use regular non-rechargable batteries in it too? Or does it have to be the rechargable ones? Also, how long does the solar unit take to recharge the battery?

    Thanks much

  • nice instructive video, without any loud distracting music.

  • @hunt458 you're suppose to turn the bottle upside down thats why they came up with the most recent one that has a green rubberized insert so the water thats on the bottom can can have accest to the the UV light.

  • Very helpful introduction to UV purification. Thanks for a clear and understandable presentation.
