Where did this idea come from anyways that music should be emotion/expression/feeling...? Music is art - there are no rules in art. Shouldnt music be whatever you like to hear the most? Whatever that is.

amazing. fuck.

You can sit here and say: it's all speed, Blah, blah, blah...There'
s no feeling..Blah, blah, blah. I can't play that fast, but I play with pure emotion...Blah, bleh, bleeeeehhw!!! But if you want pure, absolute truth, if you want to be realistic about science and the way the world functions in the correct fashion, then you must simply stop denying reason, open your mouth and say that George Bellas is one of, if not the most talented, amazing, mind blowing guitarists/composers on this planet.

@JuanPaBJxGothic If you read carefully my previous post you will see that i am reffering to non-mainstream music and not pop oriented. Only the words Jonas Brothers sincerely make me wanna puke. Now, i was never in to neoclassical so maybe i am not able to understand George Bellas artistic expression. I am planning to have a listen to some bands that incooporate this genre in order to have an objective opinion.

@mkouros no, it's just few people have the capability to understand this kind of music. Other genres, for instance, Melodic, Power, Neoclassical, Gothic or Symphonic Metal are so melodic themselves but you'll never listen to them on a radio or tv program and that's because most people are full of shit in their brains.
Btw, with your thinking you're saying that all those poppy groups like jonas brothers actually have that ability to create melodies since they made breakthrough in their careers.
What I believe in is that... a musician who plays by 'heart' and pours out their 'soul' on their preferred instrument is incomparable to the next musician who does the same...even on a different instrument.
One of the lessons we tend to overlook is the power to appreciate. Even if he were the lousiest guitarist/musician on Earth (just by saying it gives me the shivers) we can still learn a thing or two.
As they say, you CAN enjoy them at the same time w/o making a fuss on who's who & whatnots.
