Hamer guitars are great. I have a USA duotone and an early 80's prototype model. Out of the 15 or so electrics I own the Prototype is one of the best! Nice tones and very fast.

Hey Paul, nice chops! And that's a beautiful guitar! I have 5 Hamers, all of them imports though...but I have been very impressed with them. I think the imports stand up well to anything Gibson USA makes, and I've been playing Gibsons all of my life. I just purchased a new Hamer USA a few days ago, it's an Artist, but it's not as dolled up as yours...it has dot inlays and no binding, but it has a lucious figured maple top that is butterscotch color! YUMMY! It's on lay-away for now...Cheers

Great playing from a great player & a great guitar!! Nothing better than a "Hamer" they make the best guitars aon the planet!! And if you get one you will see why!! They have an inherant quality inlike any other guitar! I'm pretty hooked on my 11yr. old one myself!! Come on over & see mine in action as well!

Yes! I think you sealed the deal for me - was debating between a Hamer and McInturff. Except I'm thinking getting the cheaper mahogany-topped one, but we'll see how lavish I get. btw, I also have a Carvin, but the 50W Nomad.
