  • He was the smoothest operator R&B has ever known.

  • Almost strange that all the R&B of the 70's 80's and even 90's can be easily enjoyed by all ages in 2011. Interested persons can check out KUMU radio in Hawaii, (the only OLD SKOOL music station) that plays only "Old Skool" music 24/7 My radio in my car is locked on 94.7 Kumu all the time. Reminiscing on thr Great Old School music

  • @kja427 It is sad that the young people today do not have music like Ray Parker Jr-It is all about money and sadley as long as Hip Hop sells the music industry execs are going to keep promoting it-But here is some good news for you-history repeats itself and that good music from the early 80's will return-so just hang on

  • Miss that from my spouse, love.

  • @bee52mitch Real music is timeless!

  • Man, I wish I grew up in that era. They had REAL music back then!

  • One of the songs Ray sang at Casio Monrongo!

  • Ahhhh, back in the day when Black's spoke English.

  • If you want to take it racial, fine. Black community, stand up and straighten out your young people and let them know the "gangsta muthaf*ckin streets" culture of b*tches, blunts and money yo is NOT acceptable.

If it sounds like a stupid argument on a MUSIC video? You're right. Problem is YOU moved first, chief. SMDH @ "white execs"....

  • kja427 - YOU ARE AN ASS. These mythical "white" execs wouldn't scramble to sign these talentless clowns unless ghetto ass young people glorified it. There are actually "songs" today with a refrain of "Oh yeah oh yeah f*ckin' right f*ckin' right"...and the kids know it line for line yet can't even memorize their classwork.

  • @PastBeta You may have a point there.

  • @kja427 - Ray Parker Jr. and a tons of other soulful black acts

still exist. Don't blame black folk s because the music industry

is the way it is today . Its the white music industry execs putting all their

eggs into the crappy autotune hip hop you hear today. Not to mention those

white execs ignore quality black bands due to "old age". You see,

black folks don't worry about old age. White people always focusing

on looking young and fake. It may sound "racist" but it's true.
