Platypus Creek

A Platypus at the local creek in my village of Bangalow.

People are moving in on their territory and that worries me a lot.

I have watched these little wonders in this pool for the past 22 years now.
There are also Azure Kingfishers and Australian Bass and crayfish the size of small lobsters and all kinds of wonderful wildlife in this little creek!


As you can see............
Some so called do gooder's are messing with the creek banks to make it look" prettier".
Grrrrrrrr! :(

Now that it has been opened up, it is fast becoming a swimming hole.

Bad news for wildlife! :(

"If it ain't broke, then don't fix it", is my view on things!
Please leave their homes alone .

They are so very cool !
