  • No stunt double on this one... he could really twirl... but could he shoot?.... LOL... probably... this was a really cool video... smiles and hugggsss... JVD

  • @JaneVanDoe Oh yes. Method actor you know, liked to be able to do things for real.Studied with Arvo Ojalo & Rodd Redwing & practiced until he had one of the fastest draws in Hollywood, then became proficient enough to really hit a target while doing his quick draw, then he studied twirling and other gun tricks,(coached by his friend Sammy Davis, who was very skilled with a gun) which he combined with trick riding for a rodeo act.He was also good with a rifle and was into skeet shooting.

  • That was incredible!!! He is soooo hot :D

  • @CherryCokeLove If he'd only done the scene shirtless it would have been darn near perfect :-)

  • nice video... have a nice day

  • Robert Culp was the best!!!!!! I wish he was still with us, God rest his soul.

  • Revolver Ocelot's hero lol_^)

  • COOLIO!!!!

  • Respond to this video... Now that I look at this clip, I think he'd have been great for the part of The Gunslinger from the Stephen King books.

  • @TheRosaLee23 Those guns were "single action", so all amount of pulling the trigger wouldn't shoot off the gun. Only when the hammer was cocked back and THEN you pulled the trigger would the gun shoot. That's why the gun slingers back then prackticed several hours a day with the "gun twirling". It was exercise for the trigger finger for strength and dexterity. But regular cow-hands didn't have time for the hours a day of gun practice. 15 hours a day of working & they'd just go home to sleep.

  • Everything the dude did was cool and he made it all look so easy. Thanks for the clip!

  • Now I see why Four Star Productions chose him to star in the T.V. series TRACKDOWN .

  • @JaneVanDoe Yes, it's an awful movie, but I can watch anything with him in it. And he's REALLY in it! :)

  • @praguephotog Hats... Gun-belts... and Boots.... I would rather not watch a terrible movie... watching a great western... I can imagine... him getting ready for a bath... LOL... smiles... JVD

  • @JaneVanDoe Oh - INDEED HE IS! Check out "A Name for Evil", if you haven't already. It's a terrible movie, but he bares it all in one scene, and that alone is worth it, for me.
