How much to make a light like yours? I'd like bright white during the day and blue at night.

looks like a pain in the arse to clean the inside glass?
ShiebMo 4 months ago
@ShiebMo not as bad as you'd think, as long as you keep up on it. Obviously the back will be a bit difficult, but the front/sides I just use a magnetic cleaner for (its a small round one that I got from two little fishies) . Getting your hand/arm inside there to really clean things though is a pain. especially when you're trying not to knock all your rockwork over

i am in the market for the saem setup are u running extra filtration?
dmb58 10 months ago
@dmb58 Nope, just live rock, the included filter, and that's it. The only change i made (which isn't really much of a change at all) was that I took the stuff out of the filter box and replaced it with (from bottom to top) the included sponge filter, my own bag of carbon, mixed with phosphate absorber, and a piece of filter pad on top of that, but honestly I'm not even sure if those would be necessary if your live rock is porous enough to do all the work for you
