  • Sounds good. What guitar / pickups / amp / pedals are you using?

  • @BOULDERDP thanks! my guitar is an epiphone emperor joe pass model. the pickups are humbuckers tho im not sure exactly what comes on the guitar. and at this point i was playing through a 65 watt solid state fender princeton amp. no pedals just the drive channel on that amp. i have since moved up to a fender deville and still only use the drive channel on that with no pedals. ive been inspired by guys like derek trucks to just play right through the amp with minimal effects and stuff. thanks man!

  • Why on earth would you PLAY a signed guitar!? Thats like wearing a signed football shirt! (Or, sorry, as you yanks say 'Jersey')

  • because the signatures add personality to MY guitar..Derek Trucks plays his guitar and its full of signatures. In the 04 crossroads Hubert Sumlin played a les paul that had so many signatures you could hardly see the finish..i dont care about depreciating the value or whatever because my guitar is like family member..i wouldnt sell it for any amount..the money is about the farthest thing from my mind when i play..not playing it cuz its signed would be like not using something bc its customized

  • Nice - who has signed your guitar?

  • Derek Trucks and his wife Susan Tedeschi. me and my friend ended up getting escorted backstage at a concert in the summer and he came down off the bus and signed it. if you don't know who Derek is, DEF check him out. you'll be glad you did.

  • Its not about depreciating value, mate. Its if you like the signature, you'd want it to remain there, yeah? Well, most guitars played by people with any seriousness get torn to shit around the pickguard and such and while yours isn't signed there, I just don't understand playing signed guitars. But cheers on your playing.

  • O SHIT!

    lol buddy rocks

we gotta do a duo in one of these
