@emerald825 its really weird that mention that u had several opera classes and still dont know that sometimes is difficult to control the breath , even the most trained singer like caballe, callas or tebaldi had that problem. also just for the record, tarja turunen IS NOT a opera singer she is trained but she doesnt have the skills of a opera singer, she is just another soprano, show a song of her to any of your teachers and ask them.

@emerald825 Marcela and her sister are classically trained, though they choose not to use that style very often.  Just search for "marcela bovio opera" for some videos.

@emerald825 In the DVD of Stream of Passion Live you can hear singing scales and vocalises with her sister, mastering lyric singing technics. She might not be an opera singer but she uses technics of classical singing and adds it to rock technic. The most important here is her emotion and the way she holds the sounds. But I'll listen to Tarja Turunen. Do you know Natalie Dessay ? She's the best opera singer I know.
