I respect both artists and their music. I like Mariah's music, Im not to keen on her or her voice. Whitney is one of my favourite singers and I have her I Look To You album its amazing. Im not saying Mariah cant sing I just prefer Whitney's voice. I think hers comes more naturally than Mariah's. :)

@KBVOY nope.....Celine Dion is the best selling female artist....just search it in wikipedia...you will find what's the truth!....Celine Dion definitely has more number of album sales than Mariah....but I can not deny that Mariah is also good....very good rather!

Exactly, both women are legends in their own ways. It seems as though people are too busy comparing these two woman as though either one of them are perfect & the epitome of what an artist should be. They both have "faults." People can easily criticize Ms. Carey for her image & easily criticize whitney for not being more active in the creation of her music as far as songwriting/composing or producing. But are any of these requirements? No... everyone is different which is a great thing.
