i was inspired to record this because of my friend gregory's piece on (Un)Making Cities http://www.stormlight.org/gray/matter/ if you enjoy an exceptional read now and again.

things are disappearing around us. they slip away and it's years later before we notice that using a term like "phonebooth" in a song no longer makes any sense cos they're all gone or you realize that you're still making friends "mix tapes" 15 years after you've pitched your cassette recorder. it's quiet and it's subtle.

maybe that's why it's worth noting.

  • terrible rendition, this is not meant to be a lounge song, you should go back to working for David Letterman.

  • As the daughter of a DJ, a real DJ, I listened to this song and found myself at the point of tears. Because the thought of playing what someone truly actually wants is so foreign now. They're all company men.

  • well done man good cover good vocals

  • Oi made show some fucking respect i bet you cant play like that , learn to apriciate music
