Paragliding tow launched flight @ Sterksel (Guido Louman, September 12 2009)

A short paragliding flight (unfortunately no good thermals) in Lopik/Sterksel (The Netherlands) with Action Air Sports. In this case a stationary paragliding winch is used for the towed launch (in Dutch: 'lieren') because there are no significant mountains in the Netherlands.

Shortly after I detached from the winch cable I practiced a mild spiral dive (a rapid descent technique). Camping site Sint Jorishoeve is clearly visible.

(The video was shot with a 21HQ bulletcam with 2,9mm wide angle lens (RF Concepts) mounted on top of the flighthelmet, connected to a Canon HV30 miniDV camcorder.)
