  • This song was a brilliant choice - it captured the balance between all aspects of this film - most importantly the melancholy behind the madness...I too was glued to my seat when I saw this in the theater, many moons ago!

  • @homelesshannah50 its a saying george's wife olivia told him in a way of saying calm down....so he used it as a song

  • @homelesshannah50 I'm guessing it's the direct opposite of "Cheer up".

And I've still no idea what "Cheer Down" means, so... yeah...

  • I'm right there with you. Always really liked the way this movie ends and the song begins.

  • Best closing credits music ever! (cheer down means, calm down)

  • what the hell does 'cheer down' mean?!! must be a British thing

  • man for so many years i thought i was the only person with an unusual connection to the credits of this movie, I mean seriously who holds something special ("feels touched" for the lack of a better term), with the credits of a movie, it sounds bizarre. after finding this i can gladly see that i am definately not alone. i love this movie I love this song Mel Gibson can do no wrong. man the memories.

  • @SPeacock Road House also came out that year

  • this song makes the ending even better :D
