I agree with everything but don't bother if you are a smoker. They will refuse to work on it, otherwise it is a good deal.

I have a point for you: I had also an iMac, (i think mid 2007), the Graphics card stopped working, and they had to replace the whole motherboard, the reparation cost would've been 80% of the original cost of the computer, so what i mean is that sadly apple just covers 3 Years, so you can basically trash your computer after 3 years if something breaks, this is not a hater comment i love macs and everything

Hi there mate, I seem to have the same or if not similar problem with the fan. A high pitched noise coming from the top right hand corner of my 24inch 2.8GHz iMac. I have apple care so thinking about taking it back. I use SMC Fan control also has my iMac reaches 60c sometimes!

How did it take them to fix this for you? Several days before you got it back or several hours?

It took 7 days exactly. But they had to order parts for my specific job. So im guessing if they dont have to special order replacement parts it could be a lot quicker.
