Hey Treehuggers... this is how people in poorer countries make money. Harsh reality. Wanna regulate that? Good luck.

that is a crap load of otos! damn!

they need to take a certain amount of these fish out of the wild as they are doing here but with gentle care and send them all to a farm where they came produce mass quantities of this fish , and then send these non wild otos to other farms so they can continue this process and keep it going . then less pet stores will buy from these guys , they go out of business and then we don't hurt the ecosystems in the amazon.

@TheSickEarth Add some zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and lettuce to the tank. I bet they'll eat one or more of them. Remove whatever they don't eat after a few days and put new pieces of various vegetables in.

I just bought 2 of these at $2.50+ tax each, they ate all the algaes in the aquarium but don't touch any food I am offering. Poor bastards are starving, one even attempted to scrape some algaes of angelfish. I won't buy any wild-caught fish ever again.

My argument alone is enough to justify catching these fish. It's lengthy, but certainly more valid than merely saying, "Oh, that's wrong!" or "May your generation burn in hell for doing that!"
Ivan Mikolji, like Heiko Bleher have been through shit & God knows where man would rather NOT go, in a race against time to discover & rescue fish before they go extinct! Of course, they don't give a damn about that part, these self-righteous conservationist wanabes!!!
