now how olmos manage to settle things with eme, i heard several stories that he was ordered to pay a "tax" fee to them...a portion of the money made once the film was released in theaters and that was apparently why they backed off...others say he had a private sit down with the real life shot caller in pelican bay and manage to make some kind of deal but as far as i know that issue with eme had been over long ago

@Cray2thousand "I always thought this movie was science fiction"....science fiction movie lol COME ON GUY REALLY?? but anyway if you watch this documentary carefully olmos narrates that she was a former gang member and she pretty much laid out the blueprints...as for olmos, they made several attempts to the point he had to get a CCW permit...

@6arba9eman, I was not trying to be sarcastic, maybe I sounded saracastic. and so, Lizarraga was also a chola? somebody else right here says she got killed that la EME ordered her death because of the rape part in the movie. If they killed her for this movie, why didn't they kill Olmos too?

@Cray2thousand ....how everything of the gang life from the neighborhood aspect to prison aspects...when eme found out she was the one who was giving out the secrets on the gang they put a hit on her....eme also wanted to tax olmos for involving their name in the movie, after all some of the real life mafia members in prison had small roles as well...

@Cray2thousand there's no need for the sarcasm guy, i was just simply adding to the conversation going on here...one of my friends sister who is now in her late 40's was one of the chola extras in that movie and talked a lot about her experience on the set, who she worked with and everything...she's also a former member of the 'hazard' gang and personally knew ana lizarraga, who was also from hazards., she was the main gang consultant for that movie who gave details on ......
