  • @CrAzEyShoTz that's why he's so smart!.

  • @angela1894 what is wrong with that? why must they get a white grandmaster?

  • @angela1894 lots of IntMasters in America, why not grab a grandmaster? Maurice probably does the most mainstream press of all GMs besides Carlsen and Seirawan.

  • @angela1894 yeah there are tons of White GMs, but let's narrow it down.

America's not a chess nation, so I'm sure Topalov, Kramnik, Anand, Svidler, Ivanchuk, etc didn't answer the call (joke)

Most super GMs (Ashleys rated about 2500+ so he's strong but not out there) want a nice fee to appear... so Gata Kamsky's out.

Hmm... Maurice Ashley is one of the most active voices in chess, has annotated on ESPN, is American, and has simple puzzle he has invented that can be solved in a 5 minute block.

  • @angela1894 good for ratings

  • @angela1894 they did it just to piss you off.

  • I love how they can't just get a white grandmaster (there are thousands of them), they have to get the ONE black grandmaster..

  • smart

  • His head is really large

  • Don't try to teach chess at the library.

Do you know George Grasser? According to his videos he can't even check out a book anymore for teaching chess.
