@wooshywoo Warmest thanks! If you google Cardiff Singer of the World, the first link is entitled Home and connects to their website. The box on the extreme right at the top includes a link to the video clips. The last clip of concert 2 is the relevant one.

I didn't like her voice and on the stage how she looks. First of all, she is taking help from her hand on the stage for her technical power.İts very bad to see when someone can't sing relax at all. That is my taste and I am free as you all.For me like that.Also not my type colour she has...Not golden voice for me.Cardif made me surprised that time but rest is perfect! especially bass!

Thank you so much for posting this and other clips from the Cardiff Singer of the World 2009. May I ask a great fabvour, please. Would you be very kind and post the clip of Ekaterina singing Tatyana's letter scene from Eugene Onegin. It was the last clip from Concert 2 on the same website. I would do it mysedlf but I am 75 years old and do not have the technical know-ho to uplift the clip from the website.. Many thanks and best wishes from Allan Green (Wooshywoo was the name of my cat!).

@wooshywoo Im afraid I dont have that clip, this wasnt taken from any website, it was recorded direct from the TV to computer as it was transmitted.. If you let me have the URL to the webisite you talk of, I will see if I can do anything with it, but I cant promise, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
