@zorilaz That was only created 50,000 years ago? Geeze, I thought the last meteor hit was the one that killed the dinosaurs. I'm surprised. It would obviously make sense that the meteor had blasted into little pieces. Just looking at the video though, its as if the meteor was nonexistant. I don't know, I guess I was expecting something a bit more obvious.
@Kittywhiskers1000 The crater was created about 50,000 years ago...so...a lot of time fot little meteor pieces to hide inside the ground! like dinosaur skeletons and stuff...
@Kittywhiskers1000 is all over the place! the meteor exploded after the impact! boooom in 50 000 000 little pieces! maby a day after the impact u could see ..indeed lots of big pieces left from the meteor but now...after a lot of time...is the same shit...just a hole in the earth and pieces of the meteor are in the ground!
This may seem like a rather idiotic question, but, what exactly happens to the meteor after its impact? Because, the scar of its damage is clearly there, you'd think there would have been some evidence of the meteor itself (besides the crater).
reddyredd...you cheapo!! your on a cross country trip from chicago go la and you can't spend an extra 12 bucks to check somethin like this out.....I just saw it last week driving from Vegas to Jersey and it was one of the coolest things I've seen on a road trip
@Kittywhiskers1000 i know wgat u're sayin..is just a hole and that's all...i know is a little strange ..

Who were the first people to see this? If the meteorite fell during the Pleistocene age were there woolly mammoths walking about in those days?
