✔ SWTOR Jedi Knight Sentinel PVP Gameplay @ 18 in Alderaan

This is my first gameplay / guide video for the dual-wielding Sentinel advanced class in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Sentinel is the mirror class for the Sith Warrior Marauder, so the material covered in this video is relevant to players of either class.

This video provides detailed educational commentary on the core mechanic (Focus), PVP-related abilities, and analysis of match play in Alderaan.

I queued solo for this warzone.

Errata / Comments:
- I should have used Zen during the video for the buff effect. I will discuss the mechanics in my next Sentinel video

I noticed you didn't use any of your centering points with your zen. Personally i think its great because you get 6 free slash hits if you're in shi-chii form, but i only use it PvE. Is it more of a waste in PvP?

I should be using Zen whenever Centering stacks to 30 and I'm in combat.

Taugrim, you have both vanguard and sentinel.I know vanguards are good at pvp, but i cant decide between them.I want a character that beats the enemy in close range.I want him tough.But mostly, he must be really fun.I've opened a vanguard.But in my opinion, they are not tham much fun at those starting and med levels:/ what do you prefer?open a sentinel?or keep your vanguard:p

@armagedoc66 if you don't like your Vanguard at low-mid levels, you won't like it at upper levels. The base mechanics don't change, we just get more abilities over time.

So another class is probably better for you. Guardian, Sentinel, or Shadow.

Wich do u prefer the sentinel or the guardian and why?

@KingWildfire I didn't get to the upper levels with them.

In a nutshell, Guardian has the highest mitigation and lots of CC to work with when spec'd in the tanking tree. DPS is average.

Sentinel packs good sustained damage and excellent burst damage and debuffs.

Both are fun to play, just depends on your preferred playstyle.

@KonzoleKing my expectations were low before I started playing Beta because I heard the same thing.

This has been the most fun PVP game I've played maybe ever.

@fredricktheman SWTOR at launch has more balance in PVP compared to WoW Cataclysm and RIFT 1.6

If you don't enjoy the game, you don't enjoy it.

The warzone PVP in SWTOR is amazing IMO.

In the middle tree  once you get to the higher tiers you can reduce the focus cost of blade storm by 2 and also reduce its cool down by 3 secounds. to me middle tree is the best plus you get the damage bonus from ataru form.

Ive never understood why people run around so much in these Tab Targeting heat seeking spell type games... no matter what the spell/ability is gonna hit you not matter how much you run from side to side like your having finger seizures. Are you... like... pretending that all that a and d keys will make a difference or is just pure boredom?
