Active Learning Classrooms: Sharing responsibility for learning

Teaching and Learning Services (http://www.mcgill.ca/tls/ ) has produced a series of videos that highlight how Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs) are being used at McGill to enhance student engagement and active and collaborative learning. Tina Piper and students describe students' increased responsibility for their learning in an active learning environment, as well as the multiple opportunities for students to receive feedback during the learning process.
