People need to quit bitching. This game is a fucking spinoff. For those of you who think the game has to be sneak base; YOU'RE PLAYING AS RAIDEN, NOT SNAKE! If this game played like the others, then they'd leave you playing as Snake or Big Boss. The gameplay in Revengeance suits Raiden perfectly. He's not really about sneaking. Being flashy is his style. If you hate change so much, then you would prefer this style. If it was sneak-based, you'd be changing who Raiden is!

Soul Ressurection was pretty decent for a Dynasty warriors rip-off.

But Bleach: Soul Carnival 1&2 were just AMAZING games, i've never played such an awesome action RPG like those, alot of people don't know about them since they are only in Japenese...

But the "Heat the soul" series on the other hand is absolute shit :/

As for Naruto games, yes they're all pretty crappy, except for Ninja Storm 2 and Generations which are unique.

Never played any OP games since i don't have a Wii...

@Karasamune Haha yeah Vanquish is an awesome game, it's one of my faves too, although i wouldn't hold it up to MGS series, but it's FAR better than any of the other cover shooters out there, the bullet timing system was implemented so well it's a shame the game was so short.

Well there are 2 different types of hack n slash, what you are talking about is Dynasty warriors, Gundam, Bleach type, i'm talking about DMC, Bayonetta, Asura's wrath etc etc which i guarantee this game is going to be like.

@ImagelessOverdive Don't fuck with Vanquish. That's actually my favorite game. However, comparing that to Metal Gear is retarded. They're totally different games!

BTW: This isn't hack n slash. Sengoku Basara is hack n slash--done well. Nobody really knows what a hack n slash is do they? Hack n slash isn't bad. It depends on how it's done. Stealth-based games aren't exactly unique either. Play the game for what it is; not if it's generic or unique.

No it looks exactly like a mix of Bayonetta/Vanquish, both awesome games on their own, but pale in comparison to MG games.

Why should we settle for a mediocre done before generic hack n slasher instead of a unique stealth-action game in the style of one of the best gaming series ever.

But whatever, you obviously couldn't care less as long it has MG on the name.

P.s If you like the look of this, you should buy Bayonetta and Vanquish if you havent already, both fun games.

@ImagelessOverdive Do you think I give a fuck? I never said any one of the two designs were better. I like them both. Either way, the game looks sick. I actually wish they implemented both styles. Maybe a Kojima mode and a Platinum mode.
