the frame rate lag must cause some brain confusion .... because it might be not real time tracking...

The tracking is actually 60 frames per second, which is great. However, the spherical cameras record the world at about 10 FPS, which is what you see in the video

so...the point of this is to what, make people better drivers? Cause, you know, full rear view is nice, but having a double-out-of-body experience is screwy.

Such a system could be used for mission rehearsal. Installed on a building, it can be used for remote surveillance

xSight has some great solution for HMD's, but does the company have plans to release a consumer version ?

I love VR, i think it's the future of multimedia and will have a personal Operating system.

I with someone will invent a cheap, light-weight HD head mounted display for personal use in gaming, multimedia and social networks.

Also, some gloves to control the apps will be cool like in the "Johnny Mnemonic" style :).
