@shal0mnurh0me The New Mules is Garry Harrison's current band. They've competed several times at the band contest at Clifftop. Check out their CD "The Pride of America." Its really good, and the sound is a lot better than on the old ICDB CDs.
@ssandler1 Ahh, ok. Not sure if you've heard of them before, but you may like the New Mules. They play a bunch of songs from the Indian Creek Delta Boys and some other Garry Harrison stuff. Unforunately, I missed out on Dear Old Illinois. If you go to the website it says that it's been closed down.
@shal0mnurh0me The fiddle player, Paul Tooley, lives in Maryland. He came up with this version of Rye Straw. Most of us live in either northern Delaware (me-playing banjo) or Southeast Pa. Garry Harrison is pretty well-known around here, both from his playing with the Indian Creek Delta Boys and others, his CDs, and his book (Dear Old Illinois).

How'd you hear about Garry Harrison? Do you live in Southern IL?
Good playin' by the way.
