I found the Miracle Product for your dog !
Give him CAlcium like : fresh food (not coocked) because theres crushed bones and it contains lots of Calcium !
My dog does the same thing and now she's OK !
Try it, you'll see

Give her Karo syrup, sugar, honey etc and it'll stop. Preferably liquids. Can be caused by stress, hormone change etc but all is because of drop in sugar levels.

My female had her first episode with this yesterday. It was quite scary because i didnt know what it was but after reading about it it seems its not uncommon in BD's and a few other breeds. The tech at work said her BD has them too, started when she was about 2, she's now 6.Another friend of hers witha BD said her female started with them too about a week ago. Its so bizarre. I just gave mine some icecream and it went away but i,m going to go ahead and put her on a calcium supplement too.

Thank you for sharing. We just noticed our bully started this a couple days ago. She too is very alert. Is there anyone that can say otherwise that it is not low sugar by any chance?

my 3 yr old bullie, Buster, has had them and a breeder told me there is a neuological cond they have that can eventually kill them and it starts this way. however my 1 yr old chopper just had one after a walk...i read this gave him ice cream and it went away..not sure if its low blood sugar or the refocusing....i have noticed that refocusing can stop them.
My bulldog gets them too. The first time it happened was pretty scary stuff. We had blood work done and they couldn't find anything. Having said that, ours has a bad thyroid (sp?) and ever since he's been on that medication fr the thyroid it's happened a LOT less.

Thanks for the info. Sophia has only had them 7 times in a year. I just give her Kayro or yogart and they stop.

I give her a tablespoon of Kayro and then add a couple tablespoons of yogart to her kibble. The yogart is fine to give on a daily bases for added calc. and I found it help with gas and the look of her coat.
