This demo is a multiplatform gameplay example from Emergent Game Technologies, built on the new Gamebryo LightSpeed product released at the 2009 Game Developers Conference (GDC).

This clip shows the Cryx Deathripper character in the Gamebryo animation tool, and several in-game clips featuring Deathrippers. Video is captured from the PC version of the demo, which runs on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.

For more information about the demo, see the article in the April 2009 "No Quarter" magazine.

Character assets (player characters and enemies) from the "Mangled Metal" demo are based on the WARMACHINE® property owned by Privateer Press™, Inc.

  • yeah well the game is only in making.. so dont say something is terrible if you havent seen the finished product first.. -.-

  • This is not in fact a Warmachine game Demo, so yes it has many problems, gameplay being a major one.

What this IS however is an Engine demo, meant to show off the capabilities of the Lightspeed gamming engine. Which it does.

This is good for Warmachine however as it offers the chance to see what a game might be like and increases the chances of a real game being made in the future.

  • This was very erotic

  • @Cripps23 i dont get it ... it doesnt show anything NEW or awsome ..... ven games from 2002 can do what they did in this demo

  • I hope they do something a little better concept wise, if they ever do make a Warmachine game.

Hopefully something a little better than a simple choose a jack and a clear the map.

And honestly if this is just to test the game edition to show what can be done with it......from I've seen, doesn't look like anything ground breaking.

  • Seems like something worth learning

  • this game engine looks very promising

  • O_o looks like a khador light jack to me
