I think people underestimate our cars....my car has stock suspension, stock tranny, rearend, and until 2 weeks ago a stock clutch. With the original equipment, ive made high 7 second 1/8th mile passes with a best 60 ft of 1.67, with just M/T ET streets. I think you would be thrilled with your cars performance even more if you tried a set of those tires out. Awesome ride man.

Very impressive man, I know all about running those cars at the track with stock supsension, etc...Im also impressed at the power you are getting on the stock shortblock. My 01 GT has a longblock out of an 04 and made 373rwhp and 367rwtq at 6psi. I was concerned about how much I could push, but I guess if theres a spot on tune, it should be ok.

Very true. Totally Agree, I have been stating for a long time that 2V's are capable of making serious Horsepower. I was proven correct when I met some guys that own a mustang Performance shop in Riverside California. They have some badass 2V's there.

Yeah I see your point. But you see a lot of people poking fun at Supras because it doesn't matter if you have a 500rwhp Supra or if it makes 1200rwhp it still runs 12s. I couldn't care less who is faster on the freeway. thats just a good way to get innocent people killed. I do prefer time slips and safety.

it's not all about 1/4 miles time. You have supras with nice 4V heads and huge turbo's at 800rwhp not running that much faster than 600rwhp supras in the .25 - but you can bet on the freeway which one would win.

But still... If you had a fully forged 5.4 with ported 4v heads I could see having the twin 61s. Ive never seen a 2v make 1000rwhp. Ive never seen a KB 2v make numbers anywhere close to that without nitrous. Tim at MPH is somehow a miracle worker though. Going back to my 1st impressions. I thought maybe you were some idiot who thinks bigger is better. you know what I mean, im sure you can think of a few. Later man and good luck.
Thanks!
And nope, bigger isnt always better for everything...and this is a perfect example of that bigger doesnt always work better on the track. My setup is mixed matched right now and I knew that....I was just curious as to how it would run with the stock motor. It will all fall into line in the near future though.:)

Im not too worried about ET. My car isnt setup for drag at all...and on the street, ever heard of brake boosting? Only thing I want to do is switch to .81 hotsides to help spoolup. Hotsides are the only problem with my setup...compressor will take me to my goals (1000RWHP or so). Single 60 wouldnt get ANYWHERE close to even 1000 flywheel HP. 2Vs can make serious power...MPH's KB 2.8 2V put down WELL over 900RWHP....yea a supercharged 2V. Ported heads + good turbo cams= alot more power.
