@legendaryicecream come on now. least spam a channel that is related to what your pimping out.

@delta69alpha Yeah, that's true. A BOB will have more gear to susain you, but I guess it's just up to the user tol decide how much to pack. I try to keep my bag under 50 lbs, and I'm still working out the kinks. My bag would serve the purpose of both bugging out or getting me back home, but the latter would only work if I had it with me. Maybe I'll keep it in my car. Thanks for your input.

red dawn song :D

@delta69alpha Exactly. Or to paraphrase the slogan for the movie Alien: "In cyberspace, nobody can see you're a wussy."

why nto jsut boil the water on open fire instead of buying an expencive waterfilter?

@orcassio15 i consider fire part of shelter. I have explained this before. The reason behind the 3 core items, is it is KISS ( easy to remember). Of course i can make a 450 item list of what i think folks should need in a BOB. But then it would be bad advice. Each persons BOB is different so what works for me ,may not you. However, the 3 core items never do change. When you look at packs, BOB etc, and their contents you will see this. There is always a means for h20,food,and shelter.....

@delta69alpha "*Stay tuned for my next review of this new *S.H.T.F. book i just got,* called- *Grammar *Nazi's: *The *Path *To *The *Future!"
*** Grammar errors.
Just sayin'... Also, fire does before food in a survival situation because... If it's tundra like weather, you would use fire to melt and boil ice to clean water. If it's bearable weather you need a fire's smoke to keep away parasitic bugs and the flame keep predators away at night... Oh, I almost forgot.. You cook food with fire. lol

@delta69alpha ''grammar'' not ''grammer'' lol cool vids man

WTF just get mres that sound good to you because that usually are. I hammock camp, if you got the right stuff it's pretty damn comfortable! And it's in my bob right now:)
Just want to say love the vid and the only critique I have is that in the event you have to use a BOB why the hell would you set up a target.... I mean tent???
monkybit 8 months ago
@monkybit i use a tarp and bivy bags i have a 360 field of view.each person will pack their stuff different. some "want" tents....also if you chose your spot well...tents arent that easy to be seen,YMMV

Great video, the only discrepency I saw was that a B.O.B. is the opposite of a G.H.B. One gets you away from home, the other back home. Apart from that, your tips are excellent. I personally rock a Camelbak BFM for my B.O.B., check out my vid if you have some time.

@Quadmachine0 core items you gotta have are still the same ( water, food, shelter), and picking the right pack for your load is no different as well. Granted a GHB is nothing more than a small BOB,,and a GHB and big mini kit,,which is just a big survival tin kit....Just like any prep...the items are the same its just the amounts.....;)

Why is there this stupid debate about whether fire or food are more important??? Are you seriously considering packing a B.O.B. without one of those? Oh you're not? Tthen shut it up.

@psmooth777 Becuase its the internet and everyone wants to put in their two cents! Just like a forum you have trolls and people that are full of shit. The youtube is no diffferent. Reason why most disable the comments sections on the movies.
