Target Earth HD Stages 1 & part of Stage 2

Just a little playing of a Mech Shmup named Target Earth. A very hard game with great sound for it's time. A game worth playing with a sound system.

I was looking at some Gradius videos and came across your Target Earth here. I use to play it constantly just for the music, but I'd completely forgotten about it until now. If I recall, the game was pretty much impossible on the harder settings (or hardest setting).

I love the sound and music to this game. The story is great but the graphics are just ok good but not great and the first couple of stages look pretty plain. I think the game starts pushing the genesis hardware from the fourth stage on. I also have some gradius videos...:)

You've got some great nostalgic videos and some nice Gradius playing. I won 1st prize for Type 1 when Gradius V came out, but I stopped playing as soon as the contest ended. I took the game out the other day to show a friend and only got to stage 6. Sad to imagine how bad I'd do now on stage 7 where you have to shoot the balls to block the laser streams.
