These people did rafting in its pure form... they had to know how the current is and manually get about it. Someone I know tells' me about 'rafting' today down the Colorado-I said the boat does all the work while everyone drinks beer and does nothing else. Very few people today would dare do what these guys did 90years ago-these guys did a great job.
