Aboriginal Science Fair Celebration

MISTIC hosted the Aboriginal Science Fair Celebration, a pilot project in partnership with School District 72 Campbell River and the Science Fair Foundation of BC on May 21, 2009. This science fair celebration showcased 82 science projects from 166 students from three elementary schools in Campbell River. The projects highlighted Aboriginal science, technology and traditional ways of of knowing.

To the teachers and the District Principal of Aboriginal Education with School District 72 for their tireless efforts and for embracing this project from the beginning. Without their committment to this project, it would not have been a success.
