  • Get a better mic for future videos plz

  • @shanetrowley Yes you are so right, for some reason when I get any where close to the mic it crackles, I love my logi orbital... but I think its time to upgrade for my next GPad post

  • GPad vs GPad battery life continued... though we are currently running Windows 7 GPad Hybrid, I believe when we switch to our Multiple OS platform, the underlying Linux layer will help run the tablet more efficiently, and thus use less battery power and essentially outperform Apple. Let me run an iPad next to our GPad and record the results, i'll post the video next week, and to insure I don't cheat, I will uStream the test, and post highlights of the results... GREAT QUESTIONS... many thanks

  • Battery life is uber important... the batter like Apple is a embeded lithium polymer battery, 2 cell, unlike Apple our battery rating is 5000 mAh, where I believe Apple's iPad is 4500 mAh. Battery life is very dependent on processor/unit operations. We do run a larger processor, and a 1.9 inch larger screen, though the units are very comparable in weight and size. In running a iPad against our GPad, I was suprised that the battery depletion was very close in both units, as was the recharge rate

  • Guys good bad or indifferent, we will not edit or delete your postings, unless really vulgar :) but we are here to learn about what you want as consumers and businesses. Thank you for everyone who as posted thus far. Lots more videos coming!

  • These videos seem very hypocritical in the first video of the iPad you say that the 8inch form factor is superior to Apples 10 inch and now this 11.6 inch is better? I might as well just get a laptop.

  • @sixuardianangel I think I already commented on this. When we actually launched with users, we discovered that the GPad 8' was limited in horse power and application. I thought the size was nice, but I would never be able to work, take notes on, or use it in my daily life as a true interactive device. So upgraded everyone who ordered to the New GPad 11.6. We lost BIG $, but we became trusted by our end users. I did not mean to sound harsh, and it was 3am .. thanks for your post!

  • you need to make a truly gamers laptop, and a work laptop mixed, but as a tablet

  • I agree, i dont like android on a tablet device..so far it just doesnt have the full comfort package. Windows is still the best and for comfort and ease ..i would want windows 7 on my tablet. I just want some smooth changing of portrait and landscape modes..like you see on ipad. I love quality, i want the colors and display to look nice and bright. Full youtube, like we see on a PC. Ipad doesnt have youtube like we see it on PC's . I will check up on the Gpad, sounds good.

    Thanks!

  • these jellybeans are sour

  • @GPadLife i see also that it is possible to move the virtual keypad which is amazing, however it would be so much better if you could for example pinch the opposite corner of the virtual keypad and control the size of the keypad where the maximum size would be a full screen keypad. So no only u can control the position of ur keypad but also the size...Not that ground breaking but still an interesting option...

  • @GPadLife Well if the Gpad as that option im sold already. Although the Portégé M780 was an expensive laptop it had a huge success in the businees and academic world as teacher for instance would plug in their laptop to a projector and sleeping use their laptop to do a presentation, a class lecture or adding supplementary notes on the slides...because of this innovative concept. having the same option on a lighter and higher resolution screen would be Epic.

  • Thanks for your reply! Of course I think your pricing is very very aggressive compared to the other prices but I think there are two things that you have not addressed that many tablet customers are looking for; One of them is battery life. I have looked all over the website including that comparison table and no where did I ever see the battery life mentioned. I think that is a huge selling point for Apple. No other tablet (other than those e-ink reader devices which you can argue if you want
