I decided to make a spray booth for painting models. In this segment I begin the planning stages.

One comment on fan size. I didn't do my research and as a result I will have to modify this build at the end of it. This is a down draft booth, so the fan has to clear 50 linear feet of air per minute out of the booth. To figure this out take the foot print of your spray booth in square feet and multiply by 50. This will give the required CFM of the fan that you are using. for mine this comes out to 217 CFM and I am currently using 80 CFM. Not good. I will post the mod in the final video.

  • @MrBlahblahbliggity Really I know what strand board is. And why does your profile state you are 16? Your comments lead me to believe you are this age. If you are so good at this, make your own video and show me how. Until that time stop the hate. Constructive criticism is fine, but attacking says you are immature at best.

  • @MrBlahblahbliggity Actually MDF stands for Medium Density Fiberboard :)

  • @MrBlahblahbliggity If you are in the cabinet business, you would know why you would worry about if it were pretty or not...

  • @MrBlahblahbliggity Dude. When you build your spray booth, you can use any material you want. Don't get all bent out of shape at badgrendels who was kind enough to spend his time to tell everyone what he did.
