In Nehemiah 10:37 we learn that the firstfruits were taken to the temple for the priests, and the tithes were taken to the Levites who lived in the Levitical cities. Therefore, we see that firstfruits have nothing to do with the tithe.
Firstfruits offerings in the Bible ALWAYS refers to the first of the crop, and NEVER the first of someone's income.
Proverbs 3:9 doesn't say to give to the Lord, or to give a tenth. It says HONOUR the Lord.
You are very good at taking scripture out of context and make up your own conclusions.
Abraham was wealthy before he ever gave the tenth.
No where does the scripture say that tithing brings blessings to anyone's finances.
Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
You draw conclusions without Biblical backing. The scriptures do not tell us WHY Abram tithe. Biblical historians say it was CUSTOM during those days to give a tenth to the King.
Notice also Melchezedek blessed Abram FIRST. Notice also there is only ONE example of Abraham giving a tenth, and that tenth was NOT from his regular income, AND he kept nothing for himself.
The Israelites took the tithe to the NON-PRIEST Levites, not the priests. Then the Levites gave a tenth to the priests.

Just more false doctrine.
