The whole piece is great and you can catch Eric Ewazen discussing each movement on Youtube. I'm playing it now, and the piano accompaniment is a bear...my wife is my accompanist...I owe her big time :^) Nice job...keep up the playing. Have fun w/ mvmt 3!

I played this last year, my sophomore year, for UIL and recieved a 1. :D. Yayy.
It's a really beautiful solo, when played correctly.

when my trumpet teacher played a recording of this for me as an option for my solo, i had to do play it. and i am :)
