  • I lived in Royal Oak from 67 to 72 and I still have the one page Detroit News posters of Kaline, Horton, etc

  • I hate to criticize your work, but the change of music is too jarring and the Tigers' 30 game winner was Denny McLain, not Denny McClain.

  • I met Mickey Lolich signing Autographs at the local Little Caesars Restaurant.

  • @MrMg0918 Riots did erupt around the country after the Martin Luther King assassination in April of 1968.I'm not sure if Detroit had it like they did in '67.There were a lot of people in the streets in October of 1968,but they were celebrating not rioting.

  • LOOK UP PERRINE BASEBALL ADRIEN#24

  • I'm saying this as an Orioles fan who've been in a lot of Pennant Races with the Tigers. But the 1968 Tigers were a great all around team that had to beat several great teams. Just to get to the World Series. Where they beat a great Cardinals team.

  • Nice video, but the facts a a tad mixed up. The riots happened in 1967, not 1968.

  • Go tigers for ever

  • May our beloved Ernie Harwell rest in peace.

  • Nice video/pics Tigerruhil84. Just one mistake. The Detroit Riots occured the year before in '67 and the Tigers won it in '68. I am surprised how Hollywood has not made a film about that 2-year period yet.

Still if you have not seen it yet guys watch the HBO documentary film about this era that came out about 7-8 years ago.
