Damon Fowler told Bastrop High School that prayer was illegal during graduation. The school agreed and instructed the valedictorian to NOT lead a prayer, but to instead lead a moment of silence.

This video is from the graduation rehearsal, the night before Damon's graduation. As you can see, the very Christian valedictorian decided to not follow the law. Big surprise there.

Actually I fucking love my life! I jus can't get why these dumb mother fuckers are getting pissed about the young girl praying get the fuck over it. What one person to like 250 tht one person won't win and obviously he didn't. Move on with your life's and stop worry bout some bull shit that doesn't even matter any more. She pray cuz she wanted to the school had nothing to do with it. Jus get the hell over it.

  • @labowhunter57 I'm glad you think that way. Tell me, if the valedictorian of your daughter or son's class in High School gave a prayer to her beloved Satan, you'd be fine with me telling you to not "fucking worry about it". Right?

  • @labowhunter57 I love how loving Christians are. You must really hate yourself to be that hateful.

  • @hafhaf234 Christians like this will do what ever then want. It doesn't matter if it's against the law or not.

  • Not praying in school is not just for Atheists but any other religion as well. Christians like this are so disrespectful.

  • praying in public is a very hypocritical thing to do and it is very offensive so dont be a dumb ass leave it to your self

  • "but at this time I would like to be very selfish and push my beliefs on everyone here even though I have been asked not to"

  • Whatever happened to seperation of church and state?

  • me: hay you broke the law.

her: so... im still going to heaven

me: yea your going to jail too

  • @TheLDG1981 You obviously know little about how things work. The Supreme Court has the responsibility of interpreting the Constitution. They stated that a school cannot sponsor a prayer. For years, that is what the school has been doing. Now, one could say the school didn't sponsor the prayer directly. However, they showed support by not preventing the prayer form happening, especially after it was done at the graduation practice. That's what the problem is.

  • @TheLDG1981 I do have a clue idiot. There is no problem if a student wants to pray however it was school sponsored and that is not allowed. So the person who need to get a clue is you idiot. Freedom of religion does indeed include freedom from religion

  • @slickwick45 And there's nothing in the Constitution that says students can't pray in schools. First amendment is all about freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. No one's forcing anyone to pray. Get a clue!
