I was born and raised as a Catholic and went to a Jesuit school during my formative years but have only recently come into realization about the pagan beliefs that have been ingrained in me for so many years. To believers in Jesus Christ as the only one and only true God, can you help me find a church that teaches absolute truth based on God's Word? The series uploaded by the FuelProject on the series "Know your Enemy" was instrumental in my realizations.

@YoungCalvinist08 Because in kind actions, in peace and love we feel stronger because the Holy spirit of \god is upon us

What can you say about the prodigal son. Could he had lost his salvation after taking off into a far country?

Denny, Jesus was talking about the people who will be living in the Milennium Kingdom when at the end of Revelations Satan comes out of the Pit and engages Christ in the Final Battle before going into the Lake of Fire. He is NOT talking about the Church in the Age of Grace. You cannot lose your salvation once saved.

We are resting from our own works as we let God work through us by His Holy Spirit. We are no longer in bondage to the sinful nature, or the law of Moses in order to satify a Holy God and His need to cover sin and have it atoned for again and again. If we will not submit to the Holy Spirit, then we are obviously submitting to the flesh, of which it is warned that we will suffer spiritual death if we continue to do this. Those who are LED by the Spirit of God ARE the children of God.

How could Jesus say that "I will give you rest" when you say we are constantly working to keep our salvation?

Let's keep in mind that ANYONE who preaches that a person cannot lose their salvation after they have been born-again is preaching a different Gospel and a different Jesus than the one Paul, who Jesus Christ commissioned to preach the true Gospel to the Gentiles, preached. That preacher is a false preacher and teacher. Do not let anyone deceive you. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. This is why the scripture says that only a few of the righteous are saved. They do not endure to the end
We don't need to have our sin atoned for over and over again. Jesus paid for our sin once and for all. The believer is forever saved. " 10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." Heb 10:10
