Isn't this about Mary, the mother of Jesus? Always portrayed in blue, known as the Mystical Rose. "She is the perfect creature and I am the geek with the alchemist's stone"--the stone turned to gold, as the rosary beads of the faithful have turned golden at Marian sites such as Medugorje. She does still perform live. I saw her on American tour last November and she and her band and her daughter were amazing. Her voice is lower than it was 20 years ago when this was recorded but we still thought she was fantastic.

I've just discovered Mary B , a pal of mine is from across the water. ..... and so, you tube and went searching ......... This is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Does she still sing live ? I must sad I play it nearly everyday , WONDERFUL . answers most appreciated. Happy days to all.
