@gregjalbert Drilling oil isn't going to ruin anything. Even if it runs out it isn't going to hurt the Ecosystem. It will replenish itself. No matter what we do the ecosystem is going to be damaged, Just like with BP. I say we take a smarter approach to oil drilling. I think Oil Companies and Environmentalists in America could work side by side to create a clean way of drilling for oil. We could put the fate of the Ecosystem in our own hands and make sure we do a better job then the others.

We don't need a petition. We need actual legislation to reverse Congressional interference in the economy.
Congress needs to stop looking at every issue and think that it is a good place for it to impose its will upon citizens through force.
We need a separation of state and economics as much and for the same reasons that we need a separation of church and state.

"Big Oil" is us. We are the stockholders. If you own an IRA or mutual funds then you probably have a share in "Big Oil". If you want to punish them stop driving. Here's an alternative: ride a bike.
