Man on the street Dave Winkley(Don Knotts)is in Gloccamora Ireland getting a load of "Blarney" from the Subject of his interview-Lord Morris Fitzmorris, the Fourteenth Earl of Gloccmora(Pat Harrington Jr.).Also fleeting glimpses of Tom Poston,& Gabe Dell. And i beleive there really is no Gloccamora Ireland."How are things in Gloccamora" is a song.Rogers & Hammerstein i think.
I wish someone would upload don knotts when he did Man on the Street. My favorite is the one where he's Nixon's bodyguard.

Steve Allen was smart enough to surround himself with TOP NOTCH supporting talent when he was given a prime time show. In addition to Pat, Don, Tom & Gabe..there was also Louis Nye.

Don Knotts was in a WWII South Pacific show called "Stars and Gripes" and the age of 19 in 1943. My dad played sax/clarinet in the band of the variety show which entertained thousands of troops on ships, Australia, Phillipines and many other islands. I have program of the show and V letters to my mom explaining what was going on. Don did his nervous announcer bit. Mickey Shaunessy was also in the Army sponsored group.

Actually, the song is from "Finian's Rainbow" and was written by Harburg and Lane.

Wow Don Knotts was taller than Pat Harrington, Jr.? Knotts was 5-8 right? "Schneider" couldn't be that short! *Scratches head*
