Yikes.... not much ground clearance for outboard turbines to ground. 50 seconds to get off the grround....and that was with a rolling start!

im going on this flight on the weekend! what are the seats like back in the slums (economy)? do they have any sort of usb power connection or power supply for laptops? im guessing they wouldn't.

They don't. They might in the bathrooms but I doubt it. Those 744s are gettin pretty old.. The seats back there aren't bad.. you get the back of the plane to walk around and that keeps the flight goin faster. The personal screens are nice too :D
