and Sonic does not run away because he fears she'll be captured,but because he doesn't want her to hug him(seen so many times in Sonic X) and he does show that he cares about her in the games,but not in a romantic way,he cares about all his friends in the games an equal amount he cares about Amy,hate to burst your bubble but,Sally was first,and do your research next time :P

no,satAM was released i think 3-5 days before CD,it's not much but it's still truth,Sally is the Original,and when she was a flicky she was still a girl,have you not read the Fleetway comics? Moddona was suppose to be sonic's girlfriend but she was scrapped,and if you REALLY wan't to be correct Amy was the girlfriend of a hedgehog named Nicky( i think) in the manga,and Nicky transformed into sonic,but then turned back and Amy never found out that Nicky was sonic
