It is such a tragedy. Clifford T Ward was a wonderful human being, who was surrounded by so much suffering but yet found it in his heart to give so much joy and show so much compassion to everyone else.

ctw, this is one of my favourite videos. I have never heard Clifford speak. He was such an amazing man. Now I hear him speak of his daughter.
Why do these people have to die at such a young age.

Clifford T was a special sort of person. And in the music industry a very special sort of person. I vaguely recall him sending my mum a card with a beautiful message when she wrote and told him how much she enjoyed his music. She, like he, is now in another place but the memories of course live on.

Hi ctwfan, it's very sad he died so young at 57. For Debbie and Her Friends is a great song and my favourite from Mantle Pieces album. I have the original LP.

I have the same feeling as most who have replied, sadly missed a lovely talented father, songwriter, teacher. I do hope his music gets more air play on radio.

What an absolutely lovely man he was , so " ordinary "in an extraordinary way . His songs , his words , a dreadful loss .
