@IEJP Yep. I made the dowel for this one. It originally had a bolt, I think but it wasn't in the neck when I got it, so I drilled it and shaped the dowel stick out of a piece of oak.

New strings are nice but they have to mature a but to get the right feel and tone I find. Of course I've only played guitar so not sure about banjo.

@kortt Same with the banjo. These are old strings, but I took 'em off so they had to re-stretch again.
