I don't know if this event was planned or not but somehow someone at RuneFest arranged a fight in clan wars of JaGeX moderators versus the attendees (and some others, including me).
Yes, JaGeX moderators can edit their skill levels and spawn any item they wish. They apparently can get 10k+ hit points too. They can also teleport pretty easily (see 7:30) and smite/ss works on them.
Note how I also kept hitting them after they died, you stop hitting players and monsters once they reach 0 lp.
