Saw this movie for the first time last night. Really, really good. And I don't really even like girls hoops. But there's a spirit about girls in any sport that is not there with the boys. They are more fun loving, more ethereal, more audacious and in touch with what sport is about. But I wish they were better basketball players. They HAVE NOT advanced much since the 1980s at the high school level offensively speaking. Coaches emphasize only defense and I can't blame them. It wins.
