Ummm...no? Gonna have to say no, actually. I don't think so. I think you might be racist. Do you think light skin causes you to be a better parent? When you comfort a child in need or help them learn a new and challenging idea, do you look down at the skin on your arm, kiss it, and proclaim, "Thanks, White Skin! I couldn't have done it without you!"?

Some mothers are just plain batshit insane about their kids (they are usually obsessive, white, suburbanites who live in a mental bubble) and woe unto anyone who does anything less than praise them like the perfect, unique, flowery, indigo child that they no doubt are! @icarus313 funny you should say that. I told my kids old preschool teacher that when they misbehave please be very firm with her response. You could hear the crickets chirping in the room. A mom that doesn't think her kids are perfect?
