  • Just a word of advice that I learned, even if you are only going to change out the ink, you should always take out the nib first and replace the ink and then put the nig back in.

If you noticed, kitty took out the ink and put it back in and then pulled out the old nib and the nib shaft was all bent. Thats what happens if you only remove and insert the ink without first taking out the nib. The nib should always be inserted last.

  • @mohawk14616 Yes, this is very true! I was changing my nib anyway, so it didn't matter that it got bent, but yes, take out the nib before you change the cartridge!!

  • Guys from the u.k. Check out artdiscount.co.uk for super cheap copics.

  • @mickykitty88 I've been doing that by pulling the nib out and using their needle thingy that comes with the refill bottles. What I've found is the ink doesn't do so well with my 0.05 pen. From what I've been reading, the smaller pens use a lighter ink. The ink i've been refilling with is the regular #100 Various Ink.

So I can't decide if I should jump to the SPs. Cheaper to refill yourself, y'know?

  • I have the regular Copic Multiliners. What I'm researching is how the SPs replace their ink cartridges. I've been refilling the inks on the regular multiliners by pulling the nib out with tweezers then refilling with their black ink.

It's not possible to refill the cartridge on the SPs, correct?

  • Really nice of you to share this

Let me ask you...do you find this Copic Multiliner better than the others brands? I meam, is it smooth to ink? Is it more or less black? Is it really bleed proof?
